A road runner is walking through my yard like he’s been sent here by the assessor’s office to do a survey.
He walked right past the kitchen window and then over to the garage and was poking all around the yard with great curiosity.
This is the closest I’ve ever been to a roadrunner. I was surprised at how big this fella was.
He stopped by the apiary fence and studied the other side for a good half hour. Do you think he knows what will soon be in that yard.?
Making use of a barren area along the side of the shop.
Once upon a time there was an open, lonely space upon the earth. The lonely space had a somewhat depressed outlook. No, not that kind, depressed as in an area sunken below the surrounding area. The depression was so subtle that it was nigh unnoticeable to the casual non-observer of life. However, when the owner of the lonely space road her lawn mower across, it was fully depressed enough to risk throwing her off the mower and causing her to lean to one side and a most uneasy way.
Yes, this will be a bee yard one day. It’s barren and not very inviting, but I have every intention of changing this sad state of affairs.
